What Happens When You Call?​

When you call an eating disorder hotline, you’ll be connected with a trained volunteer or professional who can:

 

  • Listen and offer emotional support

  • Help assess your situation

  • Provide referrals to treatment programs and recovery resource

​All calls are confidential and free. If you are ever in immediate danger, please call 911 or 988 for emergency support.

Eating Disorder–Specific Hotlines

National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) Helpline

One of the oldest and most trusted eating disorder helplines. Offers emotional support, referrals, and resources for anyone struggling with or concerned about an eating disorder.
